Hey There!

Hello and welcome, I’m Ajal Mary Theodorah, an agriculturalist, urban small-space gardener, and author of the children’s book Harvesting Honey with Grand Pa. Beyond my love for nature and storytelling, I am a passionate advocate for grief awareness and support for anyone navigating life after loss, whether through the death of a loved one, divorce, or separation.
I am not a therapist or counsellor, but I share my grief journey, the lessons, reflections, and hope that emerged from my story to help others feel seen, supported, and understood in theirs. My own grief journey began early: at just six years old, I witnessed my parents’ separation, and by eight, my father died. As an adult, I’ve learned that healing is continuous and grief is ever-evolving.
I hold an MSc in Sustainable Food Systems from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and a BSc in Agricultural Sciences and Entrepreneurship from Uganda Christian University. In 2023, I began sharing my grief journey on my personal YouTube channel. By 2025, I created Through the Tunnel of Grief: a dedicated space and YouTube channel to inspire, inform, and encourage anyone walking through loss of any kind.
Here, you’ll find stories, conversations, and resources that remind you: You are not alone in your grief. Healing takes time, but together, we can walk through the tunnel and find light on the other side.
I am a Ugandan currently living in the Netherlands with my husband and our two daughters.
You are warmly welcome here.
